CambridgeSoft organizes a seminar on the evolution of its product and services. It will feature using experiences from different business perspectives, as well as case studies on the reached challenges in collaboration with their customers to improve the R+D pharmaceutical processes. In particular, the seminar will be focussed on E-Notebook and ChemBioOffice suites, and will have two parallel sessions: a training meeting about ChemFinder and Chem3D as a therapeutic chemistry support; and a roundtable session about new functionalities and possible improvements.

Schrödinger Workshops

Barcelona, 2nd and 3rd of June, from 9:30 to 17:00

Schrödinger will present the recent advances in computational chemistry and how apply them in drug discovery efforts. This workshop will run for two days and it will include not only theory but also hands-on sessions.

The first day will primarily be an introduction to Schrodinger suit of programs with a focus on structure-based methods and their application in drug discovery. This session is interesting for beginners or professionals who have never worked with these programs. To take full advantage of the workshop the organisers recommend you to ask for your own Maestro license from now. Maestro is the unified interface for all Schrödinger software and is available to academia users at no charge.

The second day is suitable for regular to advanced Schrödinger users who would like to discuss specific related to this software.

TF-NOC meeting



Barcelona, September 2nd  & 3rd, 2010

Task Force on Network Operation Centres (TF-NOC) meeting brings together Network Operation Centre (NOC) managers, engineers, operators, controllers and project managers interested in NOC functions in order to share experiences and knowledge as well to investigate the possibility of creating best common practices.

This meeting is established under the auspices of Terena Technical Programme with the aim to offer a forum for leading staff members of NOC's, to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration in order to foster the development and improvement of NOC's, primarily within the research and education community.

MOE Training Session



Barcelona, September 27th,  28th & 29th, 2010

This session includes a program that will cover recent advances in computational chemistry and how to successfully apply them in drug discovery efforts. The event run for three days and you can register to the ones that you find interesting for your research. The event is open to  current Molecular Operating Environment (MOE) customers, current or past evaluators, as well as interested individuals from academia and industry who have not been exposed to MOE in the past.

The first day is primarily an introduction to MOE. The second day will be focused on Protein Modeling Applications, and the third will have as a subject the Principles and Practice of SVL programming language.
