The departments 
Systems & Networks Department
The Systems & Networks Department manages and maintains all the equipment: the hardware where external services are hosted, basic infrastructure equipment (mail servers and local network, distribution lists, technical installations, etc.) and scientific and university servers hosted and housed.
Furthermore, this Department manages the Anella Científica (literally, the "Scientific Ring") and the Neutral Internet Exchange Point in Catalonia (CATNIX), their additional services (remote access, authentication, security, digital certification, Voice over IP...) to give support and aid to the organizations which are connected, and to host the RedIRIS node in Catalonia.

Applications & Projects Department
The Applications & Projects Department manages and maintains the hardware and software equipment of supercomputing, drug design, data storage, university cooperative administration, information repositories in open access and portals university data bases, giving support and aid to the organizations that use them. Furthermore, provides users of corporative tools with technical assistance and training, and coordinates the design, the introduction and the evolution of these tools.

Finance & Promotion Department
The Finance & Promotion Department provides the economic, financial and legal control of the Center. It provides the necessary administrative and logistic support: it attends to the visitors, the telephone calls and coordinates the events organization (meetings, courses, congresses, etc.).
Furthermore, this Department is in charge of training in the use of the Center resources and spreading its activities and the benefits that the high performance technologies report on the society in general, through the Teraflop magazine, the web and other media.
